Separate departure times for Classics and Modern sailing yachts offer an unparalleled scenary for participants, visitors, photographers and sea lovers. It all started in September 1981 as a friendly contest between two classic yachts « Pride » and « Ikra ». Nowadays the event counts amongst its participants 300 of the leading sailing yachts of the world.
