Sea, nature, arts, yachts and major events.

The Cote d'Azur, often known in English as the French Riviera, began as a winter health resort for the British upper class at the end of the 18th century. In the mid-19th century it became the playground of European Royalty. In the first half of the 20th century it was frequented by artists and writers, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Somerset Maugham.

Today, the French Riviera‘s chic seaside resorts of Cannes, Antibes, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Beaulieu, Cap-d'Ail, the nightlife and beaches of Saint-Tropez and the glittering principality of Monaco can all be visited by yacht.
Many of the world's superyachts are often seen along its coast.
Unique international events include the
Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco F1 Grand Prix both held in May of each year.

Set between sea and mountains, the French Riviera benefits from 300 days of sunshine per year, 18 golf courses, 14 ski resorts and many hotels and restaurants with some considered amongst the best in the world, making it a truly exceptional yachting destination.

South of the Riviera, the isle of Corsica is a boater's heaven.
From the white sandy beaches of St Florent to the southern cliffs of Bonifacio, enchantment is everywhere. Yachts cruising in Corsica can also easily visit
Porto Cervo, Sardinia, laying jus a short distance south of it.

The best season to enjoy these elegant lands of abundance with a yacht is from May to September.
